Happy Oven is a traditional bakery that has retained the traditional methods of baking. They are the only few traditional bakeries left in Singapore who bake their cakes from scratch, using natural ingredients. Located in Beo Crescent, Happy Oven keeps their prices low in order to serve the ageing population in the mature estate. Baked with a nostalgic flavour, the recipes at Happy Oven have not changed for the past 30 years, so that you can go on a blast to the past with every bite of their confectionery.
Due to the pandemic, Mr Tay decided to step up his efforts through eCommerce. Through expanding his business online, Mr Tay managed to keep his business afloat as his regular customers were able to order their favourite handmade treats online and spread the word about his affordable, traditionally-made cakes and pastries. Happy Oven also offers gift packages for celebrations, which consist of small pastries packaged in gift boxes.

Product selection
Happy Oven offers a variety of mouth-watering cakes and pastries. Their bestsellers are their Ondeh Ondeh Cakes, Apple Crumble King, Traditional Pandan Kaya Cakes, Cream Puffs and Eclairs. Their cakes are made less sweet and as such, are safer for the elderly and young children to consume. Standing firmly by their belief of using only the freshest ingredients and baking their cakes traditionally, you can rest assured that the cakes from Happy Oven are rich in taste and flavour.
We acknowledge that it can be a challenge for traditional bakeries to keep up with the latest food trends but Happy Oven has managed to incorporate modern flavours into their menu. Their Lavender Lemon Tart is one of their latest additions to their menu, which taps on the trend of using floral flavours in confectionery.

The customer reviews for Happy Oven are overwhelmingly positive. Mr Tay and his staff are extremely friendly and welcoming. Final recommendation
Happy oven truly stands by their motto of ‘modernising tradition’. For a traditional bakery to shift a portion of their business operations online, they have done a seemingly good job in reaching out to both old and new customers alike by delivering happiness fresh from the oven, straight to their doorstep.
